Guest acb123
As the title states, what size should I buy for a cocker spaniel? Is the size I buy for an adult dog also safe for the puppy stage? Any other toy recommendations? Thanks!
Bluefairy
I have a Pug and she has an adult small Kong, she sticks her bottom jaw in the hole to hold onto it and carry it around. She loves it. I would say a medium kong for a Cocker Spaniel. I have no idea how the puppy and adult kongs are different, so I just went for the adult. Kong also make a range of almost indestructible toys, I have just ordered Zoe a Kong ball, as the rubber one she is playing with now has teeth marks all over it, and won't last much longer. I also got her a Dental Chew Dumbell, but she doesn't like that as much as the Rogz Teddy Bear I bought her. She carries this everywhere, she is always shaking it and mouthing it. I'd go with Kong toys as they are varied and very strong. BF
Elsha_UK_AU
I have a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and I have the medium adult. They had weights on the packaging so I just bought applicable for his weight and age (my CKCS puppy has the puppy kong).

Red Fox
There is a size chart here: http://www.kongcompany.com/KONGSizeChart.pdf Cocker Spaniels are recommended to have either medium or large sized Kongs. If your do is a chewer then go for the larger size in the black (extreme Kong)
Red Fox
. I have no idea how the puppy and adult kongs are different, so I just went for the adult. The puppy Kongs are made out of a softer rubber than the red classic (adult) Kongs, the black (extreme) Kongs are tougher again.
