Puppy Preschool Recommendations

Has anyone had a good experience recently with Puppy Preschools anywhere within the NSW Hills District- Castle Hill, Kellyville, Blacktown, even out Windsor way? Are there weekend classes, or mainly evenings?

I'm happy to travel to the right school.

Puppy is an 8 week old Whippet.

We went with our ridgeback to one in Kellyville, probably would not go again there again, not really bad though just did not suit my dog really.

We took Bailey to DogTech. The lady there, Forget her name. Was really good!

We were really happy with it.

We went to this place, I really like Dorothy. She does a couple of different locations I think, we went to rooty hill. We had tried an earlier one at Quakers Hill vet, but didn't like it so much.

Dorothy is absolutely lovely - she runs two canine kindy classes per week on our hospital grounds. We've had great feedback from both our clients and our staff who have joined in the classes.

We have also taken our now 1yo boy back to Dorothy for some one on one, which has been most helpful.

Once your puppy is vaccinated, we run puppy obedience classes at Hills District Training and Kennel Club at Castle Hill Showgrounds on Monday nights at 7pm.

Glenorie Vet has some experienced dog people that run their puppy kindy classes too.

Have heard good reports about them.

I used to do show training with Luci Ellen in Austral, I think she does puppy preschool on Thursday mornings.

She is really good, if you don't mind the travelling I'd definately go to her.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

I got a bit side tracked regarding Puppy Preshcool when our baby got pretty sick and spent a few days in hospital, and a few more days being coddled at home. She's now been off all her meds for a week, so we can now, thank heavens, get her vaccinations updated. Our Vet wasn't keen on giving her anything while she had the other meds in her system.

We should now be able to get into the training, albeit a few weeks later than intended, but at least she' healthy"!
