So since joining DOL I have become even more aware how wrong it is to be a BYB and I try with all my effort to discourage people from doing it...I work for my local Shire and deal with the administration side of the pound....That being said I am currently trying to rehome a Maltese x that was surrended.. I posted on Facebook to see if anyone was interested and came across a girl I know that wants to breed her puppy... I told her she is selfish and contributing to animal cruelty.. and this is the reply that I got

How am i contributing to animal Cruelty? She is a gorgeous puppy and she will make wonderful puppies, if no one would want them we would keep them because no way i would let them get put down, i will only let them to home that i know are safe and the owners would care for them like i do to gracie.
