Scarlet
Maybe someone can go in and rescue the foxie x's? :D As horrible as this sounds rescuing/buying these pups only perpetuates the problem. Only stopping the demand will stop the supply. It is not only the pups who suffer but the breeding parents as well. The best solution is for the RSPCA to sieze the pups, which unfortunately they didn't do immediately.
HugUrPup
Yeh I meant someone come in a take the dogs not buy them. I'd say a threat to have them closed down unless they hand them over may work... and then of course..have them closed down anyway LOL

mrs tornsocks
someone should take their home video in there when it's busy so employees might not notice, film it, then ring one of the local news / current affairs shows with their footage, hopefully build into a bigger story about pet shops / puppy mills. Angelina
Clearly, this is a terrible situation. And I am of course, against all pets being sold in pet shops However, I am totally amazed at the condition of the kitten described. shocking, I have never seen them in that condition in a pet shop Well done for reporting

persephone
Can't someone have their mobile in hand, but switched onto video? The pics- even a few seconds of well chosen footage would be valuable .You could hold it , and look into pens or whatever...

UN-BE-LIEVABLE! That's just... no words... I know, Im guessing they had a stack of "females" in together...then realised that one wasnt, I would at least like to believe they wont sell the pregnant ladies to anyone who isnt very experienced with them, although when I was there the sales assistant was trying to convince someone that "you dont actually pay for the kitten, the cost only covers the microchip, vaccination etc etc" Felt like saying "take a look in the paper mate, stacks of free moggies in there"
