Loving my Oldies
I hate irresponsible pet shops, I recently walked past one of the biggest pet shop franchises around my area and they had American bull dog pups that had bloated stomachs (probably full of worms) and you could see their ribs, they were sooo under weight, I hate that franchise As per my post below. Write with all the details to the CEO of the franchise organsiation. There is only one pet shop in the suburb, so if I say, then I would basically be saying which pet shop it is. Could a moderator confirm if it is ok for me to post which pet shop it is please? Definitely do not name. If part of a large franchise, I would go to the website, copy all the lies the print about how wonderful they are, and write to the CEO of the franchise advising that such and such a store is violating all the requirements of good animal husbandry. VJB
Poor animals. Why are some humans so damn idiotic! Makes me so mad. I went to fruit markets last weekend and couldn't walk any further because I heard puppies barking in small cages. What exactly do they think they call themselves. Glad you reported them. Thank you. Isn't it illegal to sell live animals at markets? I'm not sure, how do I find out? Anyone know?

HugUrPup
I phoned them and they couldn't give me any information until the inspectors write a report and that won't be until next week.
oakway
Well it looks like you have done a good job and they at least went and inspected the place. Well done.
mita
Well it looks like you have done a good job and they at least went and inspected the place. Well done. You've achieved heaps in that shop has had an RSPCA inspector walk thro' their door. They now know...the conditions are under the microscope. A 'pet' warehouse opened here, with their 1st advertising saying, 'Over 100 pets....puppies & kittens....for sale!' That worried people...just the sheer number of little creatures stuck in a suburban shop building. Contacted RSPCA re that worry. RSPCA inspector said it was in the general region he serviced. So he said he'd pop in & say he was taking the opportunity to introduce himself. A show of the welfare flag....

Darkrai
all pet shops shouldn't be able to sell live animals, before i was sacked and still believe theya re still there are 3 pups foxie x things (Advertised in the window as purebreds :D ) have been sitting in the puppy things for now a month, only time they get socialisation with ppl is when the paper is changed, food bowls changed etc, other then that they are left behind glass wall with no interaction with ppl. These puppies would now be 12wks... wonder what will happen if they don't get sold... They are filthy, i was temped to come in my off day and wash them... actually i think they are due soon for their 2nd needles wonder if the shop will pay for that... a boycott on all petshops thats sell live animals...
