Files On Memory Card Gone Weird

Most of the file names on the memory card have been renamed to things like:

DWC_017=

DWC_017<

DWC_0066.JTG (whatever that is...)

And have been shuffled around ie, not in same order as i took them. I took some photos on sat and copied them to computer, took some more and copied those to computer and deleted some and then took more and now this problem.

DWC_0016 Ones like this are fine and show in the window when connected up but cannot open them and if i do i get:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

Runtime Error!

Program: ...hop Album Starter Edition\3.0\Apps\ComponentLauncher.exe
