KnucklesDutchnUs Posted April 13, 2010 Share Posted April 13, 2010 OH and I went to the Show on Easter Monday and we thought it would be a great time to play with our new lens: a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens aka The Nifty Fifty. Neither of us had been to the Show in over 12 years so we were a little excited... I love the balloon sellers and their huge floating mountains... After we watched the AmStaff judging I issued OH with a 'food on a stick' challenge. Now being my husband is a hard job, I insist challenging him to eat food on sticks (which is a challenge that cannot be denied by the way) so his reluctant breakfast at the Royal Easter Show was a Dagwood Dog. Does he look thrilled? Being the Nana-craft enthusiast I am, we visited the Craft Hall Mmm tasty: award-wining few day old marble sponge Lovely quilts And knitted treats! But we spent the most time at the Agility and Flyball demo ring! Cheering on Ashoka! What a naughty Collie! (side note: this lens isn't that great at long range, we knew it but were too lazy to change lens :D ) And Jedi!
