~Anne~
The other dog, not the Boxer type, was the one that apparently 'bit' the woman. The big issue is that the owenrs refuse to keep their dogs in their yard and are deliberately allowing them to roam. Morons.
HugUrPup
Well ACA and the neighbours claim they re let out to roam.. sounds a bit fishy to me. Why would they bother?
matty
I have got to say we did laugh at the "dog" impersonation......the kids thought it was hysterical But that aside those dogs should not be roaming, and if they cared about their dogs at all they would ensure their safety and others safety and make sure they cannot get out at all. Nevafollo
I can't see anything funny. Were we watching the same video clip? It's awful that a pair of dogs are allowed to roam after they have attacked and been declared dangerous. Seriously you didnt find that guys impression of the dog funny? Sure the circumstance werent funny but that guys impression sure as hell was even his wife was holding back laughter The owners their dogs are going to end up dead if they dont wake upto themselves! The sons last comment "let me put it this way no one is taking my dog" hate to break it to ya buddy but yes they will if you dont wake up and smell the coffee!!! J.H.M
the guy did look a bit unhinged when he was barking I got a good chuckle out of it too, but then again I fear I am stuck in a perpetual state of arrested development

westielover
Letting the dogs roam the street is wrong. The council should be fining the owner everytime the dogs get out - then perhaps he would take confinement of his dogs more seriously. The dogs didn't actually look dangerous in the footage shown and the council rangers certainly didn't look like they were in any danger when catching the dogs (as per photo in paper). Perhaps the woman who got bitten was running away from the dogs screaming and perhaps the dog gave chase and bit her on the leg - maybe that's the scenario of the dog bite (nevertheless she was bitten). I didn't get the impression that they randomly chase people down and attack them. The dog impersonator was very amusing, however, I'd say his impersonation was somewhat exaggerated (and I would be completely embarrassed if I was his wife ) Bottom line though - dogs shouldn't be roaming the street - council should be fining the owner (which can be more than $150 each time they get out!) and the owner is a complete moron putting his dogs at risk. Personally, I would like to give the owner a good wallop for making dog ownership difficult for the rest of us who do the right thing. In fact, he doesn't live far from me, so I might just go over there and whack him in the head. Might make his brain fall back into place!!!!!!! Souff
:D What a great dog impersonator :p and what a tolerant neighbour. The little sh*t of an owner thinks he is laughing at the law, by letting his dogs loose out of the enclosure. To prove what? That more dogs have to die? He has a father that thinks his dog wont bite ..... Sadly, genetics have passed on the same attitude, and it is all going to end up in tears. Oh no, wait .... owner will move out to another place, take his dogs, and repeat the process all over again in another neighbourhood. The next council may not give as many chances, particularly as they will have access to the dogs record. Red Fox
LMAO it's like someone in the edit room thought 'hmmm should I or should'nt I?' Lol. :D ;) Hmmm... I'm still not 100% convinced that those dogs are out constantly roaming or that they are really all that dangerous. They may well be and in that case then the owners are morons (and breaking the law) but it still seemed a bit 'he said, she said' to me -and who do you believe? The mad dog impersonator or the defiant teen? I dont recall the reporter actually asking the owners whether they let the dogs roam or not either. Only the young boy saying that the dogs cant get out of their enclosure unless he lets them out. And what does that really mean? That he does let them out to wander? Or that no he doesn't, no they can't get out and the neighbours are full of it? It was only half a story IMO - we dont know how many times those dogs have been out, if the owners actually allow them to wander or if the dogs have escaped the yard on their own a few times, unfortunately bitten someone and now the neighbours are narky and 'in fear of their lives'. I'm not going to judge them based on a few minutes of useless information anyway
