SeeGee
A few years ago my friends dog was declared dangerous by the BCC. It was a mistaken identity by a neighbour who was callous towards my friend, and she has been fighting it ever since. She has been working to overturn this for some time now, and is now in a position at the moment where she has engaged a solicitor and is trying to fight against this ruling. However, her living circumstances have changed recently and she has put the call out for some assistance for a temporary status. I am posting this with her knowledge. She has a facebook group regarding Fire, her beautiful husky called 'Dangerous Dogs' Rights. This is the link http://www.facebook.com/lasanth#!/grou...2409&ref=mf She has been told by the RSPCA that there is no temporary fostering available for Fire, and because of this *status* of dangerous, she is having alot of trouble getting in to a boarding kennel. I am looking for a person that has a secure yard with a fence that would suit the dangerous dog enclosure requirements. Temporarily adopt my dog while my solicitor tries to overturn the dangerous dog declaration. If you know anyone or are interested please reply to... this post and I will speak with you further. I would require weekly visits to my dog. Thanks! If anyone can help who lives in the Brisbane area, please PM or respond. Thank you, Jacqui Edited April 10, 2010 by jacquilee81
ILK
What was the accusation that was reported? I've never heard of a dog being declared dangerous based solely on a single accusation
SeeGee
No it wasnt a single accusation......Im getting in touch with my friend to get exact details.
Kelly_Louise
If I was her - I'd put more details and what she is going to supply/arrangements. Reading the OP (and it may only be a small part of the original), but to me it doesn't really read as a request... more of a... (for lack of a better word).... demand? Like she is doing YOU a favour if you adopt her dog? I know it's not the intention - but it's what it comes across as to me. Maybe put in there what costs she will cover, food arrangements, etc... make it sound like she actually needs a favour and is prepared to put in the effort to ensure that everyone is comfortable and to make it as easy as possible for the potential adopter. I'm sure she is, but it just doesn't read that way to me. What a terrible situation to be in though... I wish her luck in having the DD overturned, and hope she finds someone to help Fire.
