New Age Outlaw
A friend of mine has just rescued 3 cavies from getting squished on a busy road in the Thornlands area of Brisbane. If you know of anyone missing them please let me know.
iggy mum
OMG!!! I hope someone is looking for them. Hopefully they are escapees and not dumpees!! Perhaps you could list them on some lost/found doggie sites.
New Age Outlaw
I think they are going to contact the council first thing in the morning (can't keep them at their place more than one night) - just wanted to get the word out there in case someone is looking for them, so I said I would post here just in case. julesluvscavs
Oh gosh, lucky for them they were found just in time by your friend New Age Outlaw ! Do you want me to cross post this in my CKCS face book group??

Perhaps you could list them on some lost/found doggie sites. I would be shocked if they are dumpees.. Not saying it never happens but cavaliers do not often get dumped.. Hope they are reunited with their owners as soon as possible..
mita
Your friend did good, NAO! Can be hard to catch one dog, spooked from being lost & among traffic. But 3 Tell your friends to phone the RSPCA Lost & Found to get the details on their data base, too. Some owners of lost dogs tend to phone the RSPCA first. 3426 9999

Being people dogs they have absolute no road sence and will run out in front of a car without a motion of fear so I'm so glad you rescued them. Hope the owners have microchipped them and they get reunited soon.
New Age Outlaw
They are now at the local pound, and apparently are known to the staff there - not the first time they have been in there.

Kissindra
I presume they are in Redlands shire pound? If the owners surrender them/fail to turn up, can you let me know so I can alert Cav rescue?
HugUrPup
The owners may want to just send them to live with Aunty Puggerup Little devils must drive them nuts escaping all of the time. I hope they find a solution before it ends in disaster.

LizT
They are now at the local pound, and apparently are known to the staff there - not the first time they have been in there. Sounds like some "repeat Offenders" we had here in the Yarra Valley a few years ago. Two Cavs often seen out wandering about Chirnside Park, completely oblivious to traffic , just casually walking across a busy intersection! ;) :D ...AND also known to the local animal aid. Seriously, they must have had "little Cav gardian angels" walking beside them! Hope they sort the fencing out. Problem is once they have had an "adventure" they often go to great extents to find an escape again! Naughtly little munchkins.
