ellies mum
I always loved the pics of ChiChi... and now, after reading this story... it's cemented the fact that she is a spunky little thing, loaded with attitude - just how I like them I'm now not surprised at all that she survived.I have to say, reading that I had numerous laugh out loud moments, and a few tears. I can say, I'm very pleased that Chi made it - I'm sure she will be the best kind of medicine for Jed when she comes out of hospital. Who can resist a character like that? Happiness in the face of adversity... it will be the motto going forward won't it? I guess there's no better mascot than little ChiChi then is there? God bless little ChiChi - and hears to many more years of projectile vomitting, falling down, running the show - and to seeing Jed through her recovery. What a wonderful thread and a wonderful little dog and an angel of a woman....come on Jed......we love the stories and we need them back as do your furry family...Chi Chi must be desperate to have you home..... tears and laughs....thats what we all need.. blessing to you all.. GardenofEden
Thanks Steve for bringing this thread to the attention of new DOLers; I found that story every so touching, brought a tear to my eyes. Jed sounds like a truly wonderful woman, bless you Jed; nothing would make me happiest than to find that you have woken and are on the road to recovery. Your furballs must me missing you so much and even more so Chi Chi. Edited May 21, 2010 by GardenofEden
petpiggy
What a great story that had me crying and laughing all at the same time Chi Chi sounds like such a little character (even if she is a little bit NQR) and she must be confused without you... I want to hear more stories about Chi Chi so I hope your road to recovery is as speedy as possible.
Snowysal
So very very glad Chi has been a survivor in this tragedy that poor Jed has to endure - one less loved one for her to grieve and one small almighty body and spirit to help lift her back up when the time comes. Loving my Oldies
And one tiny little girl that would be very easy to smuggle into the hospital to visit her mum when she is well enough! I'm happy to put my hand up for the smuggling into hospital job, but ChiChi may not make it back to her foster mum's house -
