HOGWARTZBOXERS Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Hi All Please be advised that the Caboolture Kennel Club April Shows HAVE BEEN MOVED. Due to construction delays caused by the rains. The Shows will now be held on the main arena at the CABOOLTURE SHOWGROUNDS. There will be ring side parking on the day. Entry is via gate 3 Beerburrum Rd. Unfortunately the rain has held up the standing and connection of the lighting poles at the new oval so we are unable to hold the shows at that venue. But we will continue to do the best we can to provide a good show for our guests. HOGWARTZBOXERS Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) I KNOW......WET! ;) I would like to thank all the exhibitors who attended the Caboolture Kennel Club's Shows on Saturday at Caboolture. It was soaking wet and we could not park on the oval , the oval gutters were full of water and mud was the norm . HOWEVER, in true dog show tradition, the show went on . I would very much like to congratulate the exhibitors for their patience and understanding regarding the weather and also a big thanks for leaving the grounds in such a clean state . Once the tents were down and all had left, apart from a few tracks of mud you would not know we had had so many people on the grounds :D ,it was spotless! Thank you! I would also like to thank our judges for their persistence in the rain and their cheerfull and understanding attitudes :D .(MJ) It shows dog people ARE good sports! Thanks All. nabs Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Ha ha BJ and I got the trolley bogged in the middle of the oval trying to get back to the car at shows end. Thanks to Patrick (Pointers) who came to our rescue! It was a fun night. Great to kick back in the gazebo and have a couple of glasses of bubbles!
