Nekhbet
I would keep my eye on that behaviour closely, and if she does it again, she would get a firm NO and a good leash correction if she was my dog. just be careful, an untrained dog acting out of usual behavior and defensively can be built up by too small a correction or redirect onto the owner. Trainer is the way to go, someone who has experience in defence, protection etc to properly see whats going on Edited April 1, 2010 by Nekhbet

helen
Makes you wonder doesn't it. My dogs are always trying to get a pat of anyone they meet on walks, but I went for a walk along the river on a weekday and it was very quiet, a man came out of the bushes and stood in the middle of the path, dogs tails started wagging, then after a few seconds they started barking at him, something they have never done before, he turned around and went away after that luckily.
