baileyb
Hi all Can anyone tell me if there is a "human" or over the counter version of the popular Panalog Ointment please? Having two ESS I like to have it on hand but at nearly $40 a tube, I find it a little excessive. Any thoughts/suggestions most welcome. Liz and the springers I have no idea, but if you take your current or last tube to the pharmacy the chemist can advise. At least my chemist looks stuff up on his computer and then tells me if there is a human equivalent. :D
Elfin
Off the top of my head, Panalog contains an antibiotic (neomycin? and something else) and hydrocortisone. Both of these are "S4" drugs, and are not able to be sold without a prescription, ie. "over the counter". What are you using the Panalog to treat? Elfin
You could ask your chemist if there is a human "equivalent" and get your vet to write a script.
