Prydenjoy
Very sweet film, made my tummy go all twisty ;) Made my heart go all fluttery, then made my eyes go all teary ETA: Makes me worry Akita's will become an "in breed" and get into the hands of many a wrong person. They are certainly not a breed for everyone, and "mass production" would be devastating in this breed (as with any breed). I have to admit, the story made me fall in love with the breed, perhaps one day I will own one, but not at least for another 10 - 15 years when Meika is older (I do miss having a big dog and have been looking into all sorts of different breeds for one day when the time comes). Prydenjoy
The puppy used in the beginning of the film was a Shiba Inu and not an Akita, this was used as it was easier to train than a puppy Akita. The Shiba Inu was still cute but if they had used Akita puppies your heart would have melted in an instant. I had my suspicions about that... Still cute to boot though. I used to walk an Akita, one of the most magnificant dogs I've ever met.
