Leigh did try and tell WP on Tues arvo that he thought there was another, more localised problem as they had already fixed the Canning Vale sub-station at that point but they brushed him off when he asked them to send someone out. So when the power was still off at 5am Weds he rang them again! Lo and behold, they send someone out and what do you know - blown transformer ;) We should/could have had power back Tues arvo had they listened... Oh well, a few early nights were probably beneficial! ;)

Oh well, a few early nights were probably beneficial! That transformer & the one in Accourt often blows & we report it every time the power goes out, often you will see the fuse hanging. The problem was also when they replaced the transformer only one phase would work ,we had power in the house but nothing in the kennels so that is also why it took longer
Guest Willow
Wow we must've been lucky - no damage, my car was in the garage, hubbys car got dents from the hail - but it is a work car anyway and we kept our power on - a few flicks on / off and that was it.'Course I haven't been out to our place in Chittering yet, so I hope our shed and water tank are still there This is going to put pressure on the building industry too I suppose :D We haven't been able to get out to check our other property yet.....going in the morning......keeping everything crossed our "work in progress" is still looking like we remembered!!!!
