labsrule Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Yep, very normal for an entire, healthy male.Some do it in their sleep, some do it awake, some don't do it at all. My boy likes to enjoy himself, fully awake, right in front of us. It is quite a spectacle, full of motion and sound affects, but luckily he is a clean boy, and does not leave anything behind OH is not impressed, but that's men for you. I just ensure he retracts correctly, and has no issues there, but other than that I have no concerns with it. I thought it was awesome until I felt the... pidgeon gravy. I tried to run off but he followed me, full of unrequited passion, the whole time I was there! dancinbcs Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Fascinating. I have owned several entire males including dogs that have been used at stud and have NEVER had any of these things happen. No humping anything, no little deposits left. Nothing, even when the girls are in season. Maybe it is a breed thing and my BCs have too much class to do any of this. They have all had one go at lifting their leg in the house when they learn that trick, but a swift whack up the bum at the crucial moment lets them know that is not acceptable in the house. I said to my daughter, Oh look he's dreaming!!, then quickly realised that she really didnt need to look and changed the subject.
