W Sibs
Well, I've started to get things in my life organised again and going to sign up to do a Dog Trainer's course Something I've always wanted to do but never had the time nor the support to do it. Any feedback with these guys? I'll be doing the Distance Learning Course... wish me luck.. i'm so excited

Prydenjoy
Good luck, enjoy the course. After a great deal of thought I've decided to do the CASI course, another one you might want to look into
Kelpie-i
The CASI course is not nationally accredited in Australia and will not provide you with any formal recognisable certification. I would definitely do the NDTF course first to get the national accreditation and then embark on further learning by doing any of the other courses available. I guess it depends on exactly what you want to do, many jobs may say doing a course will help you get the position, but it doesn't HAVE to be the NDTF, any course will show an interest in dogs and if you can back that up with experience with dogs (eg volunteering at your local club) you've got a foot up anyway. The course content really appeals to me in the CASI course, that was my deciding factor.
