Fanuilos
Hi, Does anyone in the west of Melbourne has a scanner I can borrow for the day? Cheers
jerojath
Ask your Vet. Our Vet has loaned them to us in the past to scan/check litters when there has been confusion!

sandgrubber
If you're breeding and required to chip, might be worth putting out $220 and getting your own scanner . . . they're available at that price from whelpingsupplies.com.au. I would not want to mix up the pups once they've been chipped. Not again . . . I did it once and it caused a lot of drama/trauma. Nah, it's not for a litter, but yeah I feel your pain, with white puppies, we use ribbons and some times they fall off. It happened this time with two pups at the same time, lucky one was a boy and one was a girl. I'm actually a collector for GT Pets and need to do a collection but GT don't have any scanners available at the moment so I am trying to find an alternative. I was quoted $400 odd from a vet supply place, $220 not too bad.
