Mynewbestfriend
Pup is eating lots of blades of grass despite my trying to distract him, AND I can hear his tummy rumbling from the opposite side of the room when he's inside : it's that loud and persistent -- all sorts of squelching, rumbling and grumbling. I've offered his usual food and he's not at all interested so it can't be hunger... Any suggestions please, I'm worried about him -- he doesn't seem himself. persephone
Just hold off on food- check he's drinking, tho. if he seems ok- offer him food tonight. If there is any diarrhoea/vomiting,or he gets wobbly, or pale .... or just doesn't pick up.. contact the vet. has he eaten anything unusual/different? Jed
What persephone said. And they eat grass when their tummies are troubling them - let him to it unless there is something wrong with the grass (poisoned etc).It will help him. Watch him, if he becomes dull or very unhappy or flat, off to the vet.
elsa
I have mentioned this in a couple of other posts under different subjects. Try some Yakult or Natural Yoghurt to get some good bacteria in his tummy
