poodlefan
Pressure Corn Starch Potassium Permanganate Or, if you have bought some, Quik Stop.

Christina
Styptic pencil is handy to have around. If desperate make a bar of soap soggy in some hot water & stick the bleeding nail into it. That works.

LizT
I keep a bottle of Liquid Stypic which you can get at the Barbers or a "Shaver Shop" which is always sitting there with a cotton ball handy when I do the claws "Just In Case" and it works immediately. kirst_goldens
in future try to keep some quick stop or somthing similar in the house, but anything like the corn startch or flour is good anything that thickens the blood to help clotting
