Innotek Contain And Train Collar - Having Problems

I've only ever charged it when it was flashing red. It needed charging in Jan (warranty ran out in jan) so i charged it. It took three days for the light to go green. I took it off charger and it did weird stuff for awhile before it was functioning normally so i didn't think anymore of it. It needed charging again now but i can't get it to function normally this time and now the warranty is over. These collars are $250 brand new I dont really need it as she respects the fence well but you never know. I would like to have one on her just incase.

Does anyone have any tips incase i'm just doing something wrong and it can be fixed???

You'll need to send it back to innotek- they should replace or fix it at no cost to you if you bought it from them.

I would send it back as well. I have always received good customer service from Innotek.

why should it be free (i want it free ) if its out of warranty?

I did ring them and they said its in extended warranty (which is for 24months) but i have to pay $65 to get the new one. The new one then only has a 6 month warranty and a 18 month extended warranty where if it breaks during extended warranty then i have to pay another $65 for another new one.

maybe i should just change the battery and save my $65.... it seems like a battery related problem...
