Winterpaws
Just wondering if anyone has one, and what brand, price etc. I've seen a few but they look so narrow!!!!! We are getting a new car soon and I am a bit worried about Henry and Tina being able to get in the car (especially without scratching all the paint!!!!!), thinking a dog ramp might be a good idea? Golden Rules
I have a Solvit telescopic ramp, cost around $250 from memory (have had it for a few years now) and it's the best thing out. A bit on the heavy side but far easier on my back than helping lift a 32kg GR into the car. It's not especially narrow, nor wide. It's carpeted and the dog is more than happy to use it. We are getting a new car soon and I am a bit worried about Henry and Tina being able to get in the car (especially without scratching all the paint!!!!!), thinking a dog ramp might be a good idea? I bought a new car last year and also needed a ramp so my Dane could come for drives which she has always loved. I bought a Solvit deluxe telescoping ramp it cost $285, it is a bit heavy and because my car didn't have a boot I was reluctant to carry it in the car I mainly used it toget my girl in at home and then we managed other ways when we were out. One day she just jumped into the back of the car and I haven't used the ramp again. I won't get rid of my ramp because if I ever need it I have it. The ramp is not too narrow and certainly holds the weight, it does take a bit of time to get your dog used to it I had to use treats to get the ramp used. Good luck with your search.
