Boronia
A good news story...pity the collar and tag she had on wasn't hers! http://www.gympietimes.com.au/story/2010/0...beats-the-odds/ Edited March 10, 2010 by Boronia
GeckoTree
Great story! I hope they did a follow up at the Kia Ora address, It's stupid but many people around here mix and match dog collars. The cattle dog may have her number on. I really hope the old girl can find her way back to her family. Edited March 9, 2010 by GeckoTree
sandgrubber
Now that's a dog I would be called 'game' by any standard (see discussion of 'game' under BSL). What a little battler! If the owner can't be located, I'll bet she has enough charisma to end out with a good home for her years to come. Hope so. Good on the vets for taking her in. GeckoTree
Excellent So glad she is back home, I wonder what was up with her registration details I had visions of her being sucked along tinana creek into the raging mary river and floating like debris during that big wet lol. Kody's_Mum
http://www.gympietimes.com.au/story/2010/0...psy-heads-home/ Quoted from the article... "Brooke Thomas said her 17-year-old staffy was a serial wanderer but normally never ventured far from their Victory Street home. The family noticed she was missing on Tuesday morning but thought she’d just gone for her normal constitutional to a neighbour’s place nearby." I am glad to hear that the owners have been located. I hope that they now realise how irresponsible and dangerous it is to allow the dog to roam about!
hortfurball
Poor old girl, what an ordeal. She must have been terrified. Hope the owners will take better care of her now.
