Excellent, these are great, you can see them thinking. How did you go with storm/hail shots, wondered if you were out and about in it. We lost our car windscreen, few dents in the duco, and a half-tree down over back and side fences, marvellous, goats out, chaos. Still managed to get out for some of the good cloud formations yesterday. Yes, share your lens and settings info for the corellas when time.

They are fantastic, I've never managed to get a good bird in flight shot yet. How funny is the second pic, I bet the lower bird is swearing in bird language.

Please tell us what settings you had on your camera, how you managed to get the exposure right, I dont know, I always stuff it up.

Used a Canon 400D with the telephoto lens in the kit (75 - 300) on the Program Setting with single point focus on 200ISO. The cloud background made all the difference I think - I'm not sure it would have worked as well with clear sky in the background - I think a lot of it was being in the right place at the right time (ie: sitting in the car on the other side of the street as I drove past  ) Just love the way they were playing and stayed in the same area without shooting away...... Best bird shots I've ever managed!

PC, sorry to hear that you got damage....we were out and about in the north central area and rang the Bureau in the morning (twice for different storms) to warn them of the severity they were likely to see as the storms moved southeast - we watched both storms from their genesis but didn't follow them in......
