MavericksMission
Okay ;) Let my introduce my fur family! This is Maverick! He is a Malamute Cross Border Collie! Maverick is a shelter pup from work, I adopted him at 8 weeks old. He is very stubborn and naughty, but very loving. I love him to bits! This is Hector! He is the new baby of the family! He is a Koolie Cross Husky. Hector is also a shelter puppy. I have only had him home a couple of nights. He is very smart and very, very loving! This is Oliver! He is my smoochy, talkative, loving boy! I adopted him from the shelter I work at when he came into the shelter with his mum and 2 brothers when he was only 1 day old! He went into foster care with one of the other staff members and he cam back as an adorable, smoochy little kitten. The foster carer kept his mum and two brothers and I took on little Oliver! This is Miki! He was the first cat member of the fur family! He was adopted from a shelter when he was on death row, he kept getting over looked for all younger kittens! Miki is very independent, he likes pats but only when he wants them. He is very, very talkative. This is Kiarla! Kiarla who's nickname is "Snarly Karly" was a little feral kitten I took on from work. She was only about 10 weeks old but boy did she have an attitude! She is still a temperamental little girl.. she only allows pats early in the morning and late in the afternoon! This is Jelly! Jelly is the peace keeper and leader of the cat pack. He came into our life when we were taking our old dog to the local vet clinic and saw him sitting in the window. He had been adopted from the vet 3 times and returned because he is deaf and they couldn't interact with him! (some people! : ) When he came home as a little kitten we kept him in the bathroom for a couple of nights so that he could get used to the environment.. He had the loudest cry I have heard from a little kitten, because he was deaf he couldn't hear himself cry! This is Jay Jay Jay Jay is a very timid, scaredy cat! He came into work when he was 4 months old, he had been hit by a car. He had a pin put into one of his hind legs. Unfortunately the bone was so badly fractured, the bone shattered around the pin. He had his leg amputated, he is still the fastest cat in the family! :D To this day he is still very scared, slowly coming around. So this is my fur family, might I add that I always have foster kittens running around the house as well! Lots of fun to be had!

Guest belgian.blue
Very beautiful family! Do the boys like the felines? I'm going to adopt a dog number two in a month or so
MavericksMission
Belgian - Maverick loves Oliver (ginger cat) and Oliver loves Maverick Hector is still learning, the cats put him in his place and he has learnt to have a quick sniff and then leave them alone! The cats don't mind them, they just walk around the boys. How exciting about dog number 2! Do you know what sort of breed you are after? Guest belgian.blue
Aww what an adorable photo! Maverick reminds me of Ivy in way I did plan to get another Belgain Shepherd but now I'm thinking a short coat male, any breed mix but has to be quiet, calm and laid back hehe. Ivy and I are going away over Easter so we'll start scoping the lost dog homes when we get back and let fate work it out for us. I thought there would be more puppies looking for homes but just so many staffy crosses.
