PoppyDog
Is there such a thing? Like a group of people who meet with their 8 - 16 week old puppies to play and socialise?
iggy mum
Can't help you there, but good question. I've also been wondering if there may be a doggy playgroup (or just get together group) in Central Gippsland. Anybody know if there is?
PoppyDog
It would be so nice if there was! Only think I would worry about it vacc's since puppies arn't fully vacc'd...although maybe that would mean it wouldnt be an issue...hmmm
Gretel
I think most people with young pups take them to puppy preschool to socialise

Monday can't come fast enough for me! I think Puppy Preschool will be great!!! BooBooBear
Yes there is such a thing. We do Puppy PreSchool on a Sunday morning and we also have a Free Puppy Play Group run by the same trainers on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone is free to attend but vaccination certificates must be viewed and each owner and puppy must sit an induction half an hour to learn the dos and don'ts of what is expected during play group. It's much less structured than PreSchool however it is still supervised which is good for all puppies and owners to know the limits and when to intervene eg. if a larger puppy is getting too rough etc. Our play group goes from 3-4 pm every Sunday and they love it

Maddi1146
I think the play date idea is great. I did the puppy preschool and it was good. I went to the next class up and was very unimpressed. If anyone knows of anyone in the Canberra/Queanbeyan area that wants to do a playdate with large dogs please feel free to let me know.
