I think most people with young pups take them to puppy preschool to socialise :o

Yeh, I guess your right! Monday can't come fast enough for me! I think Puppy Preschool will be great!!!

Would be nice to meet other people with puppies without having to pay each time though...like on the weekends etc.

Yes there is such a thing. We do Puppy PreSchool on a Sunday morning and we also have a Free Puppy Play Group run by the same trainers on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone is free to attend but vaccination certificates must be viewed and each owner and puppy must sit an induction half an hour to learn the dos and don'ts of what is expected during play group.

It's much less structured than PreSchool however it is still supervised which is good for all puppies and owners to know the limits and when to intervene eg. if a larger puppy is getting too rough etc.

Our play group goes from 3-4 pm every Sunday and they love it :dancingelephant::happydance:

I think the play date idea is great. I did the puppy preschool and it was good. I went to the next class up and was very unimpressed.

If anyone knows of anyone in the Canberra/Queanbeyan area that wants to do a playdate with large dogs please feel free to let me know.
