MsKatie
Today we made the heartbreaking decision to give Bonnie her wings - she was coming up for 14 and had suffered with arthritis for many months - even a daily Previcox tablet wasn't keeping the pain at bay. To see her struggle to get up and even to walk comfortably - we knew that the time to make the decision was coming closer. Part of me hoped that one morning we would get up and find she had slipped peacefully away - but in the end - it wasn't to be A rescue girl at 12 months she has given us many years of love and has been the most beautifully natured girl ever Run free my gorgeous girl - at Rainbow Bridge where the pain is gone and Clapton and Jess wait to greet you. We love you - wait for us Edited March 4, 2010 by KelpieHoundMum
