PuggaWuggles
Hi all, I have started using canned food(natures gift) to stuff into Wugs 2 kongs, then i freeze them and he has nice frozen exciting kongs to keep him occupied. My questions are- How long will the canned food last after being opened and put in the fridge? Should i keep it in the tin or put it in a plastic container in the fridfge? Can i cut it into portions and freeze in freezer bags?how long will it last in the freezer? Is it ok to re-freeze after use? Thanks.
Stitch
The dogfood manufacturers have their contact details on their products. Why don't you contact them???? They would be able to provide the definitive answer! Personally I wouldn't keep it in the refrigerator for longer than 2 days, but then I rarely feed tinned food. I think you'd have to experiment with the freezing of it. Obviously it would need to be removed from the tin too as you have already considered.
