Dog Pens & Runs.

I'm in the process of building a new house & would like to build a couple of large pens/dog runs for our 3 dogs. I have about 9 x 4.8 metres to spare & thought there may be some elaborate designs here people may like to share. I'd like to have a seperate housing to keep one our the girls in when they come on heat & plan to keep the dogs in the pens whilst we're at work through the warmer months as we do have snakes down at the creek so plan to make it snake proof also.

Any pics, ideas, opinions welcome.

These are my dog runs, they are 4 X 5 metres.

I am in the process of putting up a 2 metre chain mesh fence that will be partialy buried in blue metal coming off the front of the dog runs and will be grass and be around 4 X 8 metres.

I have small mesh attatched around the bottom and rubber around the doors. I did find a very small baby brown snake in there (yes with the dogs ) the other day, but it was barely as thick as a pencil so would be difficult to keep those out unless the walls were solid I would think.
