Dlanigervon
A friend of mine asked me this, He has a Golden Lab and since the recent rains flys have abounded and are biting his ears which are now bleeding, causing more bites. My question is, "Does anyone know of a solution which may be applied to ward of the flies?".

Dlanigervon
Thanks Guys, I'll pass this info on and also keep a record for myself, you never know when you might need it and it certainly doesn't do any harm to have a few solutions in the event one doesn't work. Once again many thanks.
poodlefan
Septicide is an anti-bacterial wound cream that contains insect repellent. You can buy it at rural supplies and tack shops. It is safe for use on dogs.
