Emmajin
I am looking for a dryer for my dog too, i saw some on Ebay, it cost so much, around $300, do you think it's worth the money?
kezzzza
I got a dryer for my Siberians and wouldn't be without it, I wish I had gotten it sooner. I got mine from Pet Network I paid around $500, worth every cent.
t-time
$300 is a great price!! Have you guys checked out the Dogz Online For Sale pages??? Good dryers come up approximately once a month There's a fab Oldfield dryer on at the moment for around $650 and they usually retail for a fair bit more! Poms NZ - I would imagine postage would be quite high to NZ. I remember when I got my (2nd hand) dryer and postage was circa $30 within Australia!! Lemonlime
Poms, contact Doggy Dooz Grooming Salon in Victoria. They sell fantastic dryers. I dont think they are a particular brand but are 2 speed/heat controlled and super strong.
Zug Zug
Does it make much of a difference to drying time? (not very experienced at this end)

t-time
Oh yeah!! It certainly cuts drying time in half (or MORE!) I don't know how I ever survived before I had a dryer!

Russkie30
I bought an Oldfield Dryer for my goldies and absolutely love it. The coat comes up so lovely and it heaps quicker than a normal hairdryer.
PossumCorner
300 is good - mine cost over 1000, - that was 5 years ago, don't even know the brand, locally made (Melbourne far-East suburbs) by a vacuum cleaner motor manuacturer: they just reverse the suck-action part of the hose so it blows direct out of the tube. Someone clever could probably convert old vacuum cleaners into dog dryers.
