I want to buy a skin and coat supplement for my Golden Retriever, I found 3 products but not sure which one is the best.

1. Vets All Natural SKIN FORMULA

2. Chew Chews - Balance Flakes - Whole Pet Food Supplement

3. Super Skin & Coat Formula from Rufus & Coco

Have anyone used any of those products?

or is there something better out there in the market?

All i want is my dog to grow his coat faster and healthy.

Thanks

I have been using Paws & Claws Fish Oil & VAM paste for my Golden Retriever, as well as Royal Canin Labrador dry food (it has a skin defense in it, the GR one doesnt)

He had a skin problem about 6 weeks ago and was losing hair, this combination has really improved his coat.

If the dog is genetically programmed for a good coat you are almost there, after that it is feeding and grooming, and ensuring no internal or external parasites. Fleas can ruin a coat almost overnight.

There is no substitute for a good diet and regular grooming to distribute the oils and keep the coat clean and improve skin circulation.

A diet that does include some fat, oily fish, chicken skin, lamb breast etc, dogs do need some fat, regular brushing with a good bristle brush and keeping the dog fit through regular exercise than all the lotions and potions in the world.

Many people feed a completely lean diet then have to add supplements to compensate.

The Vets All Natural looks pretty good to me, but I haven't actually used it - It's terribly expensive!

I just use a good diet and fish oil supplements, never had a dog with a dry coat since doing this. Mum even says to me "I've never seen a white dog that shines so much!" so I guess I must be doing something right...
