Transport Available, 5th/6th March Syd-mel-syd

Hi All,

I've posted this up in the Rescue -> Transport forum as well as here, as I want to extend this offer to everybody on DOL.

Just dropping a line to say that I'm going to be heading to Sydney and Back on Friday the 5th of March and coming back on Saturday the 6th. I will be travelling via road and as such will have an empty car, and will be available to transport any animals to/from melbourne & sydney over this weekend. I can also stop at any intermediate town on or within a short distance of the Hume Highway.

In Sydney I will be travelling up to Ultimo on Friday the 5th arriving between 5 and 7pm and will be in Ultimo for a few hours then staying the night in Picton. I'm happy to deliver to anywhere that is not too far off the motorway (even right around westlink as I can head out over the Harbor bridge after i'm finished at Ultimo)

If anybody is interested I'm happy to transport any small animals that can be crated and put on the back seat of a car over this trip. I can supply crates for small animals - medium sized dogs for the trip.

As I'm already commited to this trip and as such I'd only be looking for a token amount to help cover fuel for the trip, however I wouldnt be looking at anything even remotely as much as a commercial transporter.

I've put this offer up in General and in Dog Rescue -> Transport however preference will be given to rescue animals. If I have placed the thread in the wrong place please feel free to let me know where I can advertise these services to Non-Rescue people in the future as I anticipate that I'll be doing Melbourne-Sydney-Melbourne runs on a semi regular basis (4-6 weekly approx) and will have this available in the future.

Just thought i'd post another reply to say that this is still going ahead, and that as yet I havent had any takers however if somebody is interested then I'm happy to do what I can.
