Depression In Dogs

sas, GP's have the same access to info on Clinical trials as we, the general public, do.

I have looked for clinical trials on The Australian and New Zealand Clinical trials Registry website on St Johns Wort and the botanical name hypericum. Since nothing comes up, I have to assume that a clinical trial in Australia does not exist, unless you can find me the link.

And I am not taking a study of 20 people that Blackmores did or something like that seriously.

Since you insisted that a Clinical trial was done in Australia, then I would like to see it, with all the strict criteria that clinical trials involve.

Thanks

I don't have the time nor the interest to trapse up information for you when you're more than capable of doing it yourself, I'm relaying information which I have read, I have no idea how many people were in the trial or what criteria/restrictions were in place, it's not the type of information I find important to retain, if you want to satisfy your sceptic mind then you need to go searching for the information whether it's Australia or not

Also, I'm not retarded, you don't have to bold the word Clinical everytime you mention it LOL

I administer anti-depressants to patients at work and St Johns Wort is either contra-indicated (or to be used with precaution) so the research has to be there.

The place to look would be the USA websites as most of the major drug companies are based there.

OK, I won't bold clinical again but many people just think a study is the same as a clinical trial.

Whippets, thanks for that.

I was actually thinking of human AD's in my opening post.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts.
