ellz
Had a lovely day out at the Huon and Channel Kennel Club Parades on Saturday. Not a huge entry but lovely (albeit slightly too hot) weather and the most wonderful company made for an awesome day!! Even Mr Ellz who was grumpy to start with got into the swing of things and ended up enjoying himself and commented on the way home that THAT is what shows should ALL be about! :D Many thanks to the Rajacadoo-doo-doo clan for putting up with us and the most HUGE, GRATEFUL thanks must go to Miss O Rajacadoo-doo-doo who helped me to handle my merry gang of monsters! Bad Alice was simply AMAZING!! Talk about a show girl. Both judges were blown away and commented "she LOVES it!". She's got her faults has Bad Alice, but I think she'll have the attitude to carry them well! Anyway, Bad Alice won Baby In Group at both parades. We were also talked into showing Roger and Flame Stafford for the first time as well. They weren't quite as "ready" as Bad Alice and we probably would have gotten better movement had we put a brick on a lead and taken that in the ring but Flame managed to beat Roger at both Parades and was Baby In Group at both Parades as well. Miss O Rajacadoo-doo-doo ably handled Flame in Specials, although both judges gave me permission to move her because she was "dragging" slightly more animatedly for me by this stage! Was quite funny for the afternoon parade. Flame saw the Specials judge heading towards her and promptly plonked herself in typical elegant Stafford fashion, doing the "slump". Our judge (a Stafford person himself) laughed at her and said "are you broked?"....."never mind, I'll fix you together again". He was wonderful with her and I'm very grateful to him! Roger (photography courtesy of Mrs Rajacadoo-doo-doo who isn't quite as technologically challenged as she paints herself! ) Flame Bad Alice Attack puppies! Gumnut
Bad Alice doesn't look like she has a bad bone in her body The puppies are gorgeous, sounds like you had a great time with great people
ellz
Bad Alice has LOTS of people bluffed! Because she's an only, she thinks she rules the world. And because she thinks she looks like a Stafford, she thinks she's VERY tough!

rajacadoo
Hey lovey, Was going to answer yesterday, but got sidetracked... Fancy that . It was a great day, and thoroughly enjoyed myself... Now little miss prim and proper, was a bit of a showoff wasnt she I do think Mr Ellz enjoyed the day, but it did take him a while to warm up !!! Should have seen the look on his face when he thought he had to go in the ring for the Stafford runoff. He was madly looking around to see who he could ask . It was a look of pure relief when he spotted me coming down So funny... Miss R had a ball, and she got the stacking down to a fine art, after she realised how the Staffords should be stacked Gee, I am VERY surprised at how those pics turned out . They looked like 'dog doo' when we were looking at them at the show, but they werent really that bad at all Cever me

rajacadoo
Yep I agree gsdzrul, it is great for the bubbas , and the newbie exhibitors as well, and I did spot a few of them with their new bubbas too... Shame we just dont seem to have many Parades left in Tas either, and I think they have nearly died out completely on the 'big island' too . Its a real shame...
