Prydenjoy
Would 50g 3 x per fortnight be enough for a pap 3-4kg? Mango is still a pup but I'm guessing she'll be about 3kg. Berri is nearly 4kg.
kirst_goldens
Ellz I would be looking at the pre made BARF patties as i believe they have offal in them and that way if u feed one patty a week (assuming u would have to check to packet to make sure there is enough offal in the one patty for the week that is) U could do the rest of the meal as regular RMB and mince and what not and not have to worry about getting ur hands on the gross bits lol.. i know there is offal in the patties, the only problem is making sure there is enough for a weeks required percentage to feed only one pattie a week - or if u can afford it u could just feed the patties and RMB everyday.. i am too poor for this option though lol Just another option though u have probably already thought of it Edited February 23, 2010 by kirst_goldens
Prydenjoy
There wouldn't be enough in one patty a week as they are meant to be fed every day, if they had a big enough dose of offal to last a week it would be toxic if fed to them every day. It doesn't make sense to me though that you can't feed offal, but you can feed raw offal in a commercial patty...
kirst_goldens
yeh i was thinking the same thing if they can get the BARF patties then why not offal in other forms... had me puzzled as well??? and good point about the toxic lol i was a bit tired i think?? well thats my excuse and im sticking to it hahaha

all that glitters
For the fussy ones, try a lamb heart, most will eat it without a problem. Yep!!! Soo True Shyla hates kidney and liver, but LOVES lamb heart, she eats it first before the accompanying lamb flap or chicken frame
BCPuppy
Marlin refused to eat any offal, no matter how I tried to disguise it, she would manage to pick most of it out, or spit it out on the mat OH makes beef jerky so gave it a go with the liver and kidneys, now she thinks her own personal jerky is the greatest treat in the world Havnt tried it with brains tho, thank goodness I cant buy any here
