bluecollie
Cesar Milan is my hero, I totally believe in his techniques and even as an amateur attempting them without his personal instruction have succeeded more in Rescue then I could have imagined with many problem dogs right down to a severely human aggressive dog... when you run a pack of dogs (I have 7 of my own + fosters) it does come down to the energy that you project as well as ensuring you are seen as top dog. Over time many ideas have evolved regarding dog psychology and continually they change, to me there should be no variation - dogs are instinctual, instinct is natures way! I believe strongly in 'Ban the deed, not the breed' so to see a pitbull so-o balanced should prove to the world that it is all up to the owner to how their temperament will develop.. 'Who's your Daddy?' mine is my Scooby Doo and I know that one day I will probably need to make such a decision and I hope when that day comes I can be as strong as Cesar to make the right one at the right time...that is true love & respect! If it should be, that I grow weak, And pain should keep me from my sleep,.. Then you must do what must be done For this, the last battle can't be won. You will be sad, I understand. Don't let your grief then stay your hand, For this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship stand the test. Take me where my needs they'll tend, Stay with me to the end, And hold me firm and speak to me, Until my eyes close peacefully I know in time you will see It is a kindness you do to me Although my tail its last has waved From pain and suffering I've been saved -Author Unknown RIP Daddy XXX Edited February 23, 2010 by bluecollie
