Ptolomy
I have a 2o and 2o on Ciderbear on the dog walk, see-saw and a-frame and she stays there until released. Woo Hoo not bad for her first session. Hmm we did have trouble doing things on the right though - lets just say its a work in progress ;) She already has more skills than Beans ;)
huski
huski - the noise reminds me of Ness's UD session last week. Well done though looked really good and your handling as improved a very long way - good work. LOL thanks Ness, nevermind the start where she almost pushes me over in the right turn ;)
ness
Sounds like Ness could use some lessons from Ciderbear Ptolomy . ETA. Hmmm huski you didn't see Ness's heelwork last week and she is supposedly trained ;) ;) . I am use to seeing pushed out the way. Tiggy
I love agility !!! Had a great night at training with Banjo. He's such a pleasure to train and he's picking it up so fast. Last week he kind of tripped through the tyre jump but tonight he was doing it perfect. I'm deciding whether to do running contacts or 2o 2o, my Instructor runs a Corgi and she does running contacts and I think I might go this route with Banjo as I can't imagine him leaping over the contact zone. I even forgot I had the flu until I got home .
pie
Tiggy, my 300 dog leapt off both contacts at the nationals First time he's ever missed them

RubyStar
I know, she was quite enthusiastic about it ;) I didn't even have the donut on me (she thought I did though). Ahhhh LOL. Daisy is looking good I still have a soft spot for Beagles, even though she was woofing at you (too cute )

I know all about not working on the right too, especially with Millie! She keeps telling me off for not letting her gravitate back to the spot she knows too well (on my left) ;) I've been teaching Ruby to weave, not going too badly! Kinda got her weaving 4 poles but I am trying to break it down so she gets more confidence and speed before I introduce any more
RubyStar
I started on some out of sight stays with the girls tonight, quite proud of how they went! I made a boo boo of pushing Ruby too far, but she gave me quite a lengthy out of sight sit stay that I have hope that entering Open will actually be a possibilty for us (once we get that last Novice pass!) Millie even impressed me with coping with me not being there She had some nice big doggies next to her (we were practicing with some Shepherd's). And Ruby's box is coming along, she can be sent from almost the full distance now

Sue & Waldo
Well I think I worked out why Cindy's pm trial on Sunday was such a disaster! She was lagging almost the length of the lead. On the way to the car I commented to someone that I thought she was limping. She was not herself on the way home in the car and I am thinking she is tired. I get home to discover a very nasty sore on her chest and she is biting at her left hind paw and elbow and wimpering badly. Remembered I had seen a spider near where we were sitting. Gave her a bath. Emailed a fellow DDOLer and our vet nurse. (Thanks heaps!) Monday off to the Vet. She is now fine but boy did she pay me back. Came home from the vet at 10am and she did not talk to me until 9pm. Anyway she is much better today but is still very wary if I call her incase I let anyone inject her, bite-antibiotics hidden in peanut butter were acceptable though. Just have to sneak up on her with ointment. Honestly she is such a wimp. (BTW I let the club know in case but made it clear I was not blaming them for anything.) Is there a prize for different ways of never getting your first CCD pass?

ness
Hence the reason I have 4 Tiggy ;) . I will say there was an offer of free tugs with every combo lead/collar purchased so that is what tipped my decision to purchase another 2 . So Tiggy do we have a short list yet - it took me hmmm a good fortnight to decide . Edited May 18, 2010 by ness
