ness
I was reading the the desexing thread posted by SecretKei and thought I would post this one as a bit of a spin off. My question is how many people find that their desexed bitches go through periods of weaker nerves around the time they would have otherwise been in season. My girl was desexed around 13 months after having had 1 season at 8.5 months. She is on the timid side and if I consider some on of the periods when she has been at her worst these would have conincided with the same time she would have been in season if it wasn't for the fact she was desexed. I know from talking with people I am not the only one that has this problem and wondered if any others on here have and how they have dealt with it. Does the level of response change over time i.e. do they worsen or improve as they get older or is it always the same. If you wanted to trial such a dog would you take account of this potential as you would if the dog was still entire and factor that in to training/trialling or what you might do at a particular time?
