Alyosha
http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/latest/678858...s-through-roof/ An alleged thief has encountered the wrong type of copper at a disused building in Melbourne's east. A dog squad police officer was searching for an alleged copper thief when he fell through the roof of the building on the corner of Blackburn and Highbury Roads at Burwood East about 10.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday. After other police arrived they arrested a 39-year-old Glen Waverley man, who was later charged with burglary, theft and going equipped to steal. He was bailed to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates' Court on April 9 this year. The injured police officer was taken to hospital to treat his dislocated shoulder after the three-metre fall. "His dog, Ella, a two-year-old German Shepherd, was on the ground at the time of the incident and the member seemed more concerned about her welfare than his own," a police spokeswoman said. The pair had been working together for around a year. Always nice to see people with their priorites set right!
poochmad
It's a bit confusing (I couldn't work out who had fallen through the roof)...but it's a sweet story regardless.
