~Shepherd~
Im talking about the ones in Salons, not those petrol station car wash things. Our local includes hydro bath, blower and all products for $20, smaller dogs are less.
wagsalot
I think I paid $18 last time I took Riley. Im going again on Sunday. That was everthing including use of the dryer. I think it was $2-$3 cheaper if you just towel dried.

Nic oh lah
Wow - wish you guys all lived in Brisbane! I volunteer at a shelter and Saturday Mornings we do a $5 hydrobath - full shampoo with flea and tick rinse, we do it all, then towel dry and brush and treat. The owners just hold the dogs lead, hehe. I know it's not the full treatment or anything but lots of happy dogs and all proceeds go to the shelter. Mim
$10 for 10 minutes at a vet clinic near by. Normal shampoo Flea and tick Dark coats Light coats Sensitive skin I think there was a conditioner available too Dryer We went when it had just opened and the owner was keen to hear our feedback. We said it was annoying that if you wanted to buy more time you could only do it in $10/10minute allotments. Not "I need about 3 minutes so I'll put in $3." After the time is up you get 30 seconds or maybe a minute, to rinse the tub. I think they've changed what shampoos they have now.

Peninsula Animal Aid to be precise - i'm there every week, usually washing or drying dogs. its $5 as I said and it's 8am-12noon Saturday. Everyone come say hi! So many people come to Kroll Gardens next door to the shelter and have no idea we do it every Saturday - i'm thinking of making up some cheap business cards to pass out! RoxyNHemi
Do they disinfect the bath? There is an option on the machine to disenfect, and it comes out the hose and you spray down the bath and walls etc. If there wasnt anyone in before me, that I saw use this option, I would be inclined to do it before I started to wash my dog. ~*Shell*~
I take Zero to the local petbarn to wash him - I take a disinfectant with me, though the bath automatically sprays itself down when the session is finished. Cost $10 for 10 minutes but i usually spend 10 minutes getting Zero wet to the skin, then I don't have the timer going while i lather him up then I spend 10 minutes washing the shampoo off him. I take him home and blowdry him. I have a forced air dryer there.
littlehoot
We have two in town. One is $10 for $10 mins and you dont have the option of adding to get a couple more mins of time its just per 10mins. The other on in Petstock is $1 per 2 mins of time. Both have dryers and use their shampoo and conditioner.
MavericksMission
I usually take Maverick to Pet Stock DIY Pet Wash $1 per minute. Usually takes about $9 to wash Maverick (he is heavy coated!) and that is Pre Rinse, Shampoo, Rinse, Flea Treatment & Heavy duty dryer Or if I want a quick wash and towel dry I just take him into work for the day and use the hydro bath in here
~Shepherd~
Not picking, but why does everyone use flea rinse unless your dog has fleas? Potent concoction IMO
wolfgirl
I take mine to Petstock, costs me a couple of dollars for each dog but I take my own shampoo and don't use the flea rinse and then towel them off take them home and put them outside with a nice big juicy bone while they dry fully then give them a good brush
Miss B
I used to go to my local Petwise store - $5 per dog, which included use of the hydrobath, Fido's shampoo, and use of the Oldfield dryers. No time limits either. These days I have my own hydrobath and dryer, so I have no need to go there anymore. But it was a bloody bargain, I became quite the regular
Casima
Petbarn in Orange as DIY, I haven't been in there for ages (since getting more dogs the cost started adding up and I now do them at home.) but it was $7 per dog and I think that was for 15 mins, although there is no timer or anything and you just pay at the shop when you are done and unless there is lots of people waiting I don't think anyone is keeping an eye on the time. They have a hydrobath and a blow dryer, not sure if shampoo is included as I always bring my own. Towels cost extra but I can't tell you how much as I bring my own of those also.
