I think it is fairly safe to say that pretty much everybody who was at the Specials Ring knows who Roger is now! Who moi I know even for ME that was really loud ;) . I actually embarased myself, whatsmore . I blame it on the echo from the canteen area, or perhaps it was cos the whole showring, (dogs included !!!), was REALLY, REALLY quiet when I yelled it out :D ... Mrs Firestone... I guess we will be seeing you in a brand new pair of glasses for those peepers of yours, at the next show huh ??? . How come I missed all the Gp 2 goss ??? :p . Judy laughed and commented that ALL little boys need their own fan club! Unlike her father she has taken to leadtraining with great aplomb. OUTSIDE the ring she will happily gait on a loose lead with her head and tail in the air and all four feet pointing in the direction in which she is going. At 6.45 as we were leaving I mentioned that we should probably go to "his" house via the Bowen Bridge because of the work going on on the Bridgewater bridge. HE said "oh no, don't worry about that, they don't work on weekends". So we drove to the Bridgewater Bridge........and on to New Norfolk, to cross the bridge there to come back to Herdsmans Cove. Serves him right that he missed a TV show that he wanted to watch!!! BUT, funniest thing was that this morning when we drove past one of the signs on the highway advising people about the closure to the bridge from 7pm until 6am....there was a BIG panel on it saying "Bridge Open Tonight" so I made a big point of showing him the difference!!!!
