Norskgra
Thanks evryone. I don't know what the recommended spacing is. I got my puppy from AWL and at 10 weeks she'd had two of her vaccinations and I just needed to organise the third, about a month later. I don't know how old she was when they got her. I know they had her at 8 weeks because that's how old she was when they desexed her. Yes I hear some of you faint with horror, but she seems ok to me. Norskqra, if you've been breeding for 30 years, and you're asking for vet recommendations, may I ask what happened to your usual vet? If they're interstate - they may still be able to recommend someone here. The reason I am asking for recommendations is because we only moved from Sydney late last year. They do not know many vets here. They have recommended a reproduction specialist if we need one.
Heidley
Chris Girling has been mentioned at Noah's crossing. He's very open to discussions about what you want and why. Perhaps a phone call to him would be workthwhile and helpful in making your decision. I'f you'd like the number let me know

Norskgra
Thanks everyone. I will give them all a call and discuss their regime. Today and Friday are my days off so I have plenty of time in between give the house a thorough clean prior to our rent inspection next Tuesday. Ozstar
I am at Forestville but I don't mind travelling for a great vet. I can highly recommend Harry at Hahndorf. He only does 2 pup needles and coron virus as well, he is also cheap for microchipping (also cheaper on everything else as well). He gives a breeder discount and is always there whan you need him. I happily travel to him. Leanne
SchnauzerBoy
+1 for Colonel Light Vet Clinc - we used them for Aubrey's desexing as we didnt trust Norwood for the task. +1 for Derek at Norwood - we use him for general stuff with Aubrey and Thomas. Although a couple of the other vets there aren't as good as we would like, so we make sure we get the vet we want. Matt at Brighton is also a very good vet. 2PUGS2LOVE
We have used these guys for about 10 years now. The vets name is Dr. Pat and he is fantastic.McIntyre Road Veterinary Clinic Personalised Veterinary Clinic 39 McIntyre Rd Para Hills SA 5096 ph: (08) 8281 6400 Yes, I used this vet too until I moved down south. He was really compassionate when it came time to do the unthinkable put my cat Puff to sleep. What I like about him is he always has a plan B is the course of treatment isn't working and a plan C and sometimes a plan D...and sometimes a plan B2; he will treat your dog but will also tell you of supporting therapy that could help (like hyrotherapty etc). Just for the record - before Dr Patrick was Dr Woof - I kid you not, that was his name
Mrs Rusty Bucket
Pin Needham (Glenside Vets) breeds Chocolate Labradors, if that makes you feel more comfortable. It wouldn't hurt to ask. I don't know what he'd say about vaccination spacings but he was the one that told me how long to keep my dog away from unknown dogs until the final booster would be effective (two weeks).
