Bulk Buying

I was thinking about how many of us are looking to either get into photography, upgrade what we already have, or just buy more equipment. I wonder if those of us in the same state who are thinking of buying could maybe buy together. Might we have more bargaining power if we wanted to buy from a shop rather than online if we went together. Obviously it would only work if we are within a reasonable driving distance from each other and are really ready to cough up our hard earned cash.

Just a thought.

I think I'd be happy to buy lenses online but the camera body I'd be more likely to buy from a retailer.
