je33ie
OH and I have been racking our brains trying to work out what our foster is crossed with. We're pretty sure she's part kelpie but can't work out the rest. Here's some pics - what do you think? Some pointers: - she has spots on her white chest - her tail is long and thin and curls up sometimes - she barks a lot and is very agile PS She's gorgeous and is up for adoption on the puppies page (under 'Zulu') at http://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au/

pie
Kelpie cross mini foxie Ditto. Kelpie cross mini foxie Yeah we were thinking foxie - but don't they have short tails? They can have any length from no tail to full tail (guessing they'd be the same as Tenterfields)

je33ie
Basenji? I'd never heard of a Basenji before but she looks just like them! She was dumped at Muswellbrook pound (west of Newcastle) though so I don't know how many Basenjis live out there on the farms ;) For those who have never heard of a basenji either, here's a pic:

hortfurball
Kelpie x extreme cuteness. I know, no earthly help. If she was my foster she'd be at serious risk of FF, she reminds me of my Ella. I'd say no to basenji, even though it looks like it on the surface, they're not common so a basenji cross would be unlikely. Plus, basenji tails are VERY tightly curled (hard to unfurl by hand - I've tried ) I suspect a basenji cross would have a tighter curl. If she's only a pup, she'll grow into those radar ears a bit. ETA: Oh also, Basenjis don't bark. Edited February 2, 2010 by hortfurball
