cowanbree
I was wondering if anyone has successfully bred a bitch that does not swell. If so did you AI, did she whelp naturally and was it otherwise a normal litter? The bitch concerned had normal seasons as a youngster but in the past 12mths while there has been blood there hasn’t been any swelling. Progesterone tests confirm it is a normal cycle. t-time
Not my bitch personally but yes, when the bitch was in season - absolutely no swelling - no discharge noticable and resulting litter of 6 pups! This was a bitch who always bled like crazy and swelled like an elephant! She is a little older and had whelped previously - everything "normal" except for this last year of seasons. Christina
Oh yes. Had no idea she was in season but the other bitch was. No blood, no swelling. The male was stood next to me & had no previous interest. He got on her back & I said Down silly, wrong girl. He moved away. 20 seconds, no tie A normal litter of 4 pups was born much to my suprise.
