Pointees
Can I get some opinions on Eco Pet rolls? I'm thinking of changing my Pointer over to it, as she is refusing to eat, and I know from past experiences, that she loves the stuff. Basically I'm thinking Eco pet daily... Liver and heart on a Monday, dry food on a Tuesday with some yoghurt, Ox tongue on a Wednesday, dry food and egg on a Thursday, Chicken wings/necks/carcass on a Friday, more dry food on a Saturday, and Lamb flaps on a Sunday... Thanks in advance.

luckypup
i feed my dog the EcoPet rolls once in a while and he loves them!! Theyre a much healthier alternative to the rolls you find at coles/safeway/aldi etc! theyre all natural so you shouldnt really have much issues feeding it daily... Pointees
Thanks guys!Aw SB, I love the smell! And the smell of Advance kibble, yum :D EWWW your a freak I have nothing to say to that! But honestly, eco pet roll daily, and all those bits and pieces during the week should make a healthy diet yeah? She will get bones too, for clean teeth. I just don't want an unbalanced diet. puglvr
Best place to buy the rolls from is Tasman meats, but I don't know if they sell the mince or not. we buy ours directly from Prime.
Pointees
Oh! Thanks. I have a number of ways to grab dog food around here.
APBT
could always try making your own dog meat roll, but ive never fed them before but with all the other food of the diffrent days is sounds like a balanced diet to me.
Pointees
I suppose I could try making it one day. :D Knowing my cooking it wouldn't work out. Last year, I managed to burn a Chiko roll but it was still frozen on the inside (it was turned on low the WHOLE time the oil heated up, and while the Chiko roll was in the oil.. And while I was making toast, the toaster caught on fire...
laneka
I have an old Rottweiler, 11 years old. He cannot tolerate dry food or bones anymore and I have him on EcoPet loaf and fresh meat. He is thriving. I do go to the factory to purchase them. A bit cheaper that way. I have PM'd the address for you.
Pointees
Thanks for that! Glad to hear about your boy and how is on it! ETA: Its a bit of a drive though... laneka
If you have a big enough freezer you could go and buy them in bulk. Also if you have an ABN # you get a huge discount. They freeze and thaw well. I don't have an ABN but I do buy 10 loaves at a time. Cut them in half, put a small freezer bag over the cut end and freeze. Pointees
Thats what I used to do at the last place I worked. I would do that too! If I had a freezer spare! 4 dogs, and 5 people in this house. Not enough freezer or fridge spaace for us all!
arawnhaus
I have in the past had fussy eaters, we did fasting and diet changes but found Eco pet a great product and none of them said no to it. I am disappointed though as nowhere in a 80 km radius sells it anymore.
