Dogsfevr Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 (edited) Its on the ANKC site i posted it in one the am staff topics i will go looksy Okay here it is 9.6 Any dog bred in Australia which has its ears cropped shall be de-registered and barred from participation in any ANKC recognised activity and any person who, by their actions, causes the cropping of a dog’s ears other than for medial purposes shall not be eligible for membership of any ANKC Member Body. (10/92, 16.3) 9.7 Dogs imported into Australia with cropped ears (from countries which approve the cropping of ears) shall not be permitted to compete in conformation breed classes, but may compete in official Trials (Obedience & Field). (10/92) 9.8 Dogs imported into Australia with cropped ears may be displayed only at conformation fixtures where exhibition classes are offered. (10/92) 9.9 Dogs with cropped ears, bred in Countries which do not approve the cropping of ears and born before the 1st January, 1992, shall not be permitted to compete in conformation breed classes, but may compete in official Trials (Obedience and Field). (10/92) 9.10 Dogs with cropped ears, imported into Australia from Countries which do not approve the cropping of ears and born after the 1st January 1993, shall not be eligible for registration and shall be barred from participation in any ANKC recognised activity including training activity. (10/92) 9.11 Dogs with ears cropped in Australia are not allowed to participate in any recognised ANKC activity, including obedience training.
